New identity, direction and purpose
Concern Universal has delivered award winning, sector-leading intelligent development for over 40 years. In that time, we have helped over 35 million people up and out of poverty.
As the world evolves, the demands and expectations on organisations such as our own have also changed. In order for us to stay relevant and distinct we took the decision to change our name and the way in which we communicate our message.
We are now “United Purpose” or “UP” for short, with our core message “Out of Poverty”.
We are very excited about the opportunities that this new direction and identity will bring. We aim to create a real sense of engagement with our work, allowing supporters to feel part of a wider community movement, working collaboratively for positive change.
This change is more than just a change in name and brand. This is a change in our impact model, approach to partnerships, our financial resilience and our global public profile. To stay true to our mission to help people lift themselves out of poverty, we are setting out an ambitious new path on how we are going to achieve this.
