Tropical Storm Ana hit the coast of Mozambique on 24 January. It then travelled to Malawi, bringing with it torrential rains, strong winds and floods. As well as damaging buildings and felling trees, the cyclone has also caused over 33 deaths and 158 injuries in southern and central regions of Malawi.
